Thoughts on… something other than Wordland

Looking at the last post, I’m seeing several things that are probably solvable but still aggravating about Wordland.Social.

    1. Formatting is wonky, but that might be because I haven’t fine tuned the formatting on the actual site. Looking at this post, that’s probably the case 😅.
    2. The post came through as authored by the admin account. Again, this is partially my fault because that’s the only account I had set up, and apparently a technical limitation of the Jetpack plugin that Wordland relies on for authentication (namely, any WordPress account linked via Jetpack to a WordPress.com account has to be an admin).
    3. Like most of that developer’s apps, it doesn’t work perfectly on mobile.
    4. Some kinks still need to be ironed out. For example, indenting a list item doesn’t seem to work (again, based on my last post) and is clunky from a UI perspective (hitting tab exits the editor while also indenting the item).
    5. The Jetpack plugin as a whole makes me a little leery; this could be solved simply by doing some research though.

I’m writing this using the official WordPress iOS app, which seems perfectly workable.
